13 New iOS Games [Nov 6]

Looking for some new games to spice up your iOS device? We’ve got 13 games fresh out of the developer’s hands to share with you today. There’s a pretty solid variety included here, and there should be something for just about everyone. If you can’t find anything that floats your boat, you can check out the new games from last week, and follow the trail of links to previous weeks as well.

Monkey RacingMonkey Racing

  • Price: $2.99
  • Genre: Racing
  • Developer: Crescent Moon Games

Kicking things off this week is a simple yet very massive new racing game by Crescent Moon. Pick your monkey and your ride, and see if you can win the race against your fellow monkey brethren. The game features extensive vehicle customization, 80 unique tracks, and hours upon hours of intense racing entertainment. Both single and multiplayer modes are available.

The World of Obert SkyeThe world of obert skye

  • Price: Free
  • Genre: Pokey Toad Studios
  • Developer: Adventure/Hidden Object

Hidden Object games are definitely an acquired taste, and they definitely aren’t for everyone. However, these can end up being some of the most fun and accessible mobile games out there, and The World of Obert Skye definitely looks intriguing. Solve puzzles, find clues, and put the pieces together to solve the mystery behind Empulse Orphanage.

Bitcoin Billionairebitcoin billionaire

  • Price: Free
  • Genre: Simulation
  • Developer: Noodlecake Studios

Go from rags to riches, all thanks to the popular new virtual currency — Bitcoins. Start out in a dumpy apartment and tap your way to success, as you upgrade your office and make millions via smart investments and coin mining. Bitcoin Billionaire looks like a very unique and relevant simulation game, and since it’s free, it could be one of the most popular games of the week.

Car BreakersCar Breakers

  • Price: $0.99
  • Genre: Arcade
  • Developer: Bulkypix

Car breakers brings crash dummy testing to a whole new level, and you better fasten your seat-belt very tightly (or maybe not). Pick your car, pick your dummy, and get ready to crash — and then go flying through the windshield so you can score as many points as possible. There are tons of different cars and dummies to unlock, as well as three unique crash testing environments.

Super Wild BoarSuper Wild Boar

  • Price: Free
  • Genre: Arcade
  • Developer: Meng Ting

This one has had very positive first impressions from gamers, and with the price reduction from $1 down to free, it has become even more enticing. It’s an arcade game with innovative controls and plenty of explosions. Use an extensive arsenal of heavy weaponry to take out your enemies, and battle against some tough bosses on top of that.

Day of the VikingDay of the Vikings

  • Price: $2.99
  • Genre: Castle Defense
  • Developer: Adult Swim

Here we have the newest game from Adult Swim, following up the match-3 puzzle RPG they teamed up with PikPok for, Adventure Xpress. Day of the Viking takes a new turn as expected, and this time the Adult Swim team takes a stab at the castle defense genre. The game seems pretty standard, but you can almost always expect a unique spin from this developer. 80 playable levels, an endless mode, and plenty of upgrades and unlockables as well.

Slash Dash NinjaSlash Dash Ninja

  • Price: Free
  • Genre: Arcade
  • Developer: Pascal

Explore a variety of different environments as you slash and dash your way through, taking out enemies and collecting loot along the way. Can’t say Slash Dash Ninja looks to offer anything groundbreaking, but it could be a fun little arcade game you can pick up for free this week.

Nitropia: War CommandersNitropia War Commanders

  • Price: Free/$1.99
  • Genre: Tower Defense/RTS
  • Developer: Bulkypix

Not only did Bulkypix release Car Breakers this week, but they’re also putting out a very promising game that combines both Tower Defense and RTS genres. The game is free to download, but this only gives you to access to three levels — you can unlock the full version for $1.99. For me, this is definitely one of the games I am most excited about this week, and I love the fact that you get a free demo to see how the gameplay is before purchasing.

The Lost HeroesThe Lost Heroes

  • Price: $3.99
  • Genre: Platformer
  • Developer: Tomasz Kucza

Next up is a side-scrolling Platformer, that gives players more options that just running and jumping. I can’t say the UI looks all that great, and the description doesn’t tell us much — but hopefully there’s some solid gameplay underneath the $4 price-tag. You may want to wait for some reviews before picking this up, but I’ve got a feeling it’s one to keep an eye on.

Pirates Don’t RunPirates Dont Run

  • Price: Free
  • Genre: Runner
  • Developer: Iceflake Sutdios

Judging from the screenshots and some brief gameplay video, I can’t tell if this is a new and unique game or just Temple Run: Pirates Editions. If you’ve ever played a game in the Temple Run series, you’ve got a good idea of what is in store with Pirates Don’t Run. Swipe to move and avoid objects, collect coins, and survive as long as you can.

Rebels and RedcoatsRebels and Redcoats

  • Price: $9.99
  • Genre: Strategy
  • Developer: Hunted Cow Studios

Two weeks ago, Hunted Cow released Peninsular War Battles. Now, I’m not sure how this game differentiates from that, as they look almost identical — but if you are a history buff or a fan of these games, it’s obviously worth checking out. I can’t say whether or not it’s worth dropping $10 every time Hunted Cow comes out with a new war strategy game, but that’s a choice you’ll have to make.

Heroes and LegendsHeroes and Legends

  • Price: $3.99
  • Genre: RPG/Strategy
  • Developer: Phoenix Online Studios

It seems like classic RPGs rarely come to mobile devices unless they’re just some older game being ported over. However, Heroes and Legends seems to offer a fresh look at the classic style of the genre. Build your team of heroes, craft your gear, and battle tons of fierce enemies and bosses as you progress through the campaign.

The Sailors DreamThe Sailors Dream

  • Price: $3.99
  • Genre: Exploration
  • Developer: Simogo

Simogo has a fantastic track record with mobile games, and they create some of the most unique experiences you’ll ever encounter on a mobile device. The Sailors Dream offers you a chance to explore the ocean and solve challenging puzzles along the way as you sail to your destination. Don’t expect intense action or flashy explosions in this one, but rather a relaxing and visually rewarding experience.

That does it for the first week of November! If the rest of the month looks anything like this week, we’re in for a pretty good month of mobile gaming. Remember to check back regularly for more information about new mobile games, and all other things related to mobile technology, right here on Pocketmeta.
