The first Android N wallpaper is here, get it now

Google did the unexpected and announced the opening of the Android N Developer Preview program. Everyone assumed the next iteration of Android would be presented at Google’s I/O conference that will take place on May 18.

The Mountain View-based tech giant took the world by surprise and launched the Developer Preview program for Android N much earlier compared to anyone’s predictions.

My colleague Dan is set to deliver you some goodies regarding the upcoming update, but until then you can enjoy the first official Android N wallpaper which is actually the default one for those enrolled in the beta program.

The pink-hued sunset with a few subtle constellations and dark purple mountain slopes might look a bit too simple, but it really makes the icons on the screen pop as the background is not overwhelmed with colors and patterns.

You can download it by saving the image below and we have to thank the guys at Droid Life for making this available.

Just in case you were wondering, there are no other Android N wallpapers available right now. However, we will post them as soon as they show up!
