While you can always browse the Google Play store in your phone and install any apps you like, there are more ways you can do that. Today we are going to be looking at how you can install and manage apps remotely from Google Play’s website, provided you have connected your device with your account on Google Play.
First, you will need to visit the Google Play website and find an app you like. This can be pretty much anything and you can navigate easier via the left sidebar. Going through the rounds in the website is actually much easier than on the phone so you will get used to it quickly. Once you have found the app, make sure it is compatible with your device. If it is, you will see a message under “Install” saying so, otherwise you will get an error.
Now that everything is ready, click on the Install button and make sure you read the permissions. In case you have more than one connected device, you can now select the one you want from the dropdown menu. If the app you have selected is a paid one, you will go through the payment options screen, otherwise you will only see an Install button to finish up quickly.
If everything goes well, you will get a message confirming that the app will be installed on your device soon, provided it is connected to the internet. If it is, a few seconds will pass and a download from Google Play will be initiated and the app will then be installed on your device.
