SwiftKey, the famous Android keyboard app just received an update with various fixes and improvements for enhanced user experience. If you’re a stranger to SwiftKey you should know this is an amazing app that offers 5 different keyboard layouts with plenty of customization options and great multilingual support.
SwiftKey’s latest update enables users to display the numpad on the left or right side of the secondary layout, feature which you’ll most likely appreciate if you’re left-handed.
Some nagging bugs have been fixed, such as the missing dollar sign for non-US territories which can be accessed along with other currency symbols by pressing and holding the letter X. In previous versions, SwiftKey wasn’t retaining personal language settings after an upgrade and now this problem is fixed too. When sounds are enabled, spacebar sounds different than the other keys and the extended layout now works correctly on Android tablets.
