The XBlockchain summit will soon gather leaders in tech, government, and business


The XBlockchain summit will assemble a select group of experts and leaders from tech, government and business three weeks from now. Based in Bali, the summit will take place in parallel with the annual meetings of the World Bank Group and the IMF.

XBlockchain and the Indonesian Blockchain Association (ABI) are working together organizing the summit and will be focused on exploring practical applications for the blockchain. Nevertheless, it will also cover themes similar to the IMF-WBG, inlcuding financial inclusion and international wealth transfers.

The XBlockchain Summit is scheduled to take place on October 9-10 and will host debates with leaders from the UN, Deloitte, IBM, Pundi X, Stellar, as well as top blockchain delegates and experts from Asian countries, industries, and governments.

Among the topics, there will be interesting themes such as supply chain management, blockchain healthcare, financial inclusion, high finance, and entertainment.

Vilius Šapoka, the Lithuanian Minister of Finance will discuss the impact of modern, intuitive regulation and proper infrastructure can speed up the adoption of blockchain technology for developed and forward-thinking nations.

Among the summit’s speakers, there are plenty of heavy names such as Paul Sin of Deloitte’s Asia Pacific Blockchain La, Susan Oh of United Nations’ Blockchain for Impact, and Chia Hock Lai of the Singapore Fintech Association.

The future adoption of blockchain technology will be covered by Stellar’s founder McCaleb. He will also discuss how he managed to reach the general public through his establishment of new global infrastructure for cross-border transfers.

Zac Cheah, the co-founder and CEO of Pundi X will talk about next-gen blockchain technology for real-world implementation. Pundi X CEO and Co-founder Zac Cheah will reveal the next generation of blockchain technology for real world implementation.

Minister of Financial Services and Good Governance from the Republic of Mauritius, Dharmendar Sesungkur will present his efforts of turning Mauritius into a global blockchain center. Jason Hsu, a former entrepreneur currently legislator plans to discuss the state of the digital economy, blockchain, and regulations using his vast experience in policymaking.

The 2-day summit will include networking sessions, as well as an exclusive high-level meeting with select guests called Blockchain on the Yacht.
