Hello. I want to buy a new laptop, and the one i want have Linux on it. From what i know , you can put Windows 7 instead of linux , but i just want to make sure. Is it possible ?

I booted using Fedora Core 5 Linux CD and installed Linux in those newly created partitions. It took me more than 5 hours for the completion of Linux installation

You have to format the Linux partition and then install Windows 7 i think. But is possible for sure.
Yes if you are using Dual core processor or more, 1 gB of RAM & Your display card support the Aero.
Than you can install and run the windows 7

O yes my friend you can do so but one thing which you have to do is install both the operating system in a different different disk...
Because its a core rule of the computer that he can access only one operating at the from the same drive...
