Hello. I got a very annoying problem in counter-strike. When i am pressing console button " ` " , the console comes down , but when i want to wright something , when i press any button , the console goes off (up). I don't know why is doing this , the only thing i modify to my computer is reinstalling windows , but it got nothing to do with my steam. Anyone know what's wrong ?
I tried deleting the standard game cfg , but is still not working...
Hi. Is your keyboard acting strange outside counter-strike too ? If you installed windows now , how many input languages have you installed for your keyboard ?
When you are typing for example " symbol is it working correctly or you need to press the button twice for the symbol to appear ?

Yes , i have problems outside counter-strike too. I have to press "alt+shift" to change it and to work good. I have installed 3 input languages : United States ( US ) ; Romanian ( US ) and Romanian ( Programmers ). I keep trying to select the good one ( Romanian ( US ) ) but i can't , i have always yo press "alt+shift". But even after that , i have same problem in counter-strike.
Go in control panel , to "Change keyboard or other input methods" , "keyboard and languages" "Change keyboard.." and there remove all and let only "Romanian - US" at Default input language.
