    Does blue screen of death-infection?

Recently, I've gotten the blue screen of death (or at least that's what I call it) 2 or 3 times, and I've always associated it with having a virus. I downloaded the photoshop CS5 trial, and everytime I try to run the setup, I get the blue screen of death. Can anyone clear this up for me?

viruses usually don't restart your system...it may be a faulty driver, a problem with your Windows installation or, unfortunately a hardware issue (video card or RAM, probably).

there are some cases in which the PSU is the cause, but I don't think it's the case . you should analysed the dump files (dmp) and see what's the error(s)

You can find the minidumps in C / Windows / Minidump

Do I check the minidump right after I get the blue screen of death? Or would I be able to check it right now. Because I could probably force one by trying to install it again.

You can check it whenever you want , all minidumps are stored where Yasmine said.
