Headphones microphone problem on skype / ventrilo

Hello. As title says i am having big problems with my mic , especially in skype , but also in Ventrilo. Ppls can't hear me right , it's either to loud or to low , or sometimes a big noise it's starting. I am running Windows 7 32 bit if that matters. And the mic it's good , i tested on another pc.

From what i know Windows 7 got some volume adjustment stuff , sometihng like if you don't talk much the mic adjust for it , something like that.
Also , you can try on skype that mic test , maybe that would work.

Yes you got to check the settings , i'm sure that the problem it's there since the mic it's fine. And i heard from others the same problem and had it resolved from settings.
