Would you like to be able to access the Home Screen on iPhone from the current app without being forced to leave it? A tweak called RiftBoard makes this possible, so if you have a jailbroken iPhone or iPad, you’re in luck.
This handy tweak lets you quickly access all your home screen icons with no need to leave the current app. A subtle, yet functional aspect of RiftBoard is it allows you view the app you were using in the background of the Home Screen overlay it provides.
The tweak is using Activator so you will need to assign it a gesture to access it. Also, from the RiftBoard Home Screen, you can access the Spotlight Search screen with a simple swipe to the left side.
A smooth animation appears when you bring up RiftBoard and another animation is displayed when you open an app from it.
The customization options are very straightforward. For example, you can set the background blur to light, dark and even no blur but the latter option makes it difficult to distinguish the home screen icons from the background.
If you want to access the Home Screen on iPhone from the current app, you can download RiftBoard from Cydia for $1.99 and it supports jailbroken iOS devices running iOS 8 or iOS 9.
