Activator tweak lets you add an Android-inspired back button to your iPhone

iOS is undeniably a comprehensive operating system, but so is Android and each has its strengths and weaknesses. Reachability lets you easily access the back button, but it’s just not the same like Android’s back button.

If you’ve been dreaming of getting an Android-inspired back button on your iPhone, Activator is a cool jailbreak tweak that allows you to use the Touch ID home button for this purpose.

In fact, it’s one of the most popular tweaks as it has an interesting and versatile set of features that provides numerous actions and gestures. Among them is the ability to setup the home button to work as a back button.

Assuming your iOS device is jailbroken and you already installed Activator, launch the tweak and tap on ‘In Application‘. Locate the TOUCH ID FINGERPRINT SENSOR section and select how the back navigation action should be triggered.

One of the most convenient options for this purpose is ‘Single Press and Slide Up‘. ‘Double Press’ can interfere with Reachability and with ‘Single Press‘ you can activate the feature by accident pretty easily.

Even so, you can try any of these options, and once you’ve made your choice, scroll down a bit and select ‘Local Back‘. Now perform the selected action on your home button to see if it works.

Have you ever used this Activator feature until now and what other features provided by the tweak do you rely on?
