If you ever feel like the current icon is not fit for your needs, it is possible to change the mouse pointer size and color in Windows 10.
In fact, there are two ways you can do this – one uses the Control Panel and the other relies on the Settings app. We’re going to show you both methods and you can just use the one you like best.
How to change the mouse pointer size and color in Windows 10 via the Settings app
If you’d like to use the Settings app to change the mouse pointer size and color in Windows 10, here’s what you need to do.
Open the Settings app, you can do that from the Start Menu or by pressing the Windows + I keyboard shortcut.
Click or tap on “Ease of Access”. On the left-hand sidebar menu, click on “Mouse”.
In the main section of the window, you will have three customization sections: Pointer size, Pointer color and Mouse keys. Once you finish making adjustments the changes will be applied right away and you can simply exit the Settings app and enjoy your custom mouse pointer.
How to change the mouse pointer size and color in Windows 10 from the Control Panel
You can also use the Control Panel to change the mouse pointer size and color in Windows 10 in a slightly different manner.
Open the Control Panel – you can do this from the Start button’s context menu.
Click on Ease of Access to continue.
In the Ease of Access screen, click the “Change how your mouse works” option.
At this point, you should have the windows called “Make the mouse easier to use” open. Here, you can choose between 9 combinations of mouse size and color which are practically the same options you can access via the Settings app but organized in a different manner.
Once you make your selections click or tap OK to save the changes.
