If there’s something Android is well known for, it’s definitely the customization it provides. From the basic themes and icon packs to launchers and custom ROMs, with Android, you can change almost anything regarding its looks and functionality.
However, Samsung has its own strengths when it comes to offering out-of-the-box customization, especially regarding its UI, TouchWiz. You can change the system font on Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, although this is just one of the many features that can be personalized in TouchWiz. A new font can give a whole new look to the interface but choosing the right one may also improve readability.
The option is definitely not new, although you might not know about it, especially if you switched to a Samsung device just recently. It’s very easy to change the system font on Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge and we’ll show you how to do it.
Change the system font on Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
Open the Settings app and select Display.
In the Display settings, tap on ‘Font‘.
The font options menu will appear and there you can see all the fonts currently installed on your phone.
Now you can browse through the fonts until you find one you like. You can also download more although Samsung’s selection is a bit scarce at the moment. Select a font you find interesting and then tap Done to apply it.
That’s it! Feel free to experiment a bit and test more fonts. Chances are, you won’t go back to the default one.
