iOS 10 brings a laundry list of important changes, but also a set of lesser-known features that are just as useful. One of the most expected small changes that perhaps arrived a bit later than expected is the ability to clear all notifications in iOS 10.
Of course, this is not the only improvement implemented in the iOS 10 Notification Center, but it’s certainly a boon to be able to dismiss all notifications at once.

Finally, there’s no need to clear notifications one by one, and even if your iPhone 6s or 6s Plus isn’t running iOS 10 beta at the moment, it’s still worth knowing how to do it. The official release will be here before you know it.
Swipe down from any Home screen to open the Notification Center.
Now lightly press the X button located at the top of the Notification Center.
A ‘Clear All Notifications’ options should be displayed at this moment, so just tap on it to get rid of them.
How to dismiss specific notifications in iOS 10
While iOS 10 adds the ability to clear all notifications, you can still dismiss individual items just like in older versions of the operating system.
To do this, pull down from the top of the Home screen and in the Notification Center swipe over a notification from right to left. Then, all you have left to do is tap on Clear to dismiss it.
While it remains a bit of a mystery why iOS is getting the clear all option for notifications only now, considering Android users and even those with Windows Mobile devices have it for quite a while, it’s great to finally see it available.
