Every time a new and exclusive feature is released with a flagship, owners of older devices instantly begin to crave it. Such is the case of the new Always On Display feature available on Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

There are several Android apps with functionality similar to Always On Display but if you already own a Samsung Galaxy S7, they can bring little to no value. Nevertheless, since you can access the original feature, know that it can be tweaked in several ways.

This feature may be new but it relies on the not-so-new capabilities of Super AMOLED displays, allowing you to see information at a glance without waking up the screen and with extremely low battery usage.

If you’re looking to customize the Always On Display on Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, we’ll tell you all about it below.
