There are so many customization tweaks, yet new ones keep appearing that bring something fresh and unique. The DayNightSwitch tweak will change the appearance of iOS toggles so that they reflect the time of the day.
It practically has two themes for the switches – a day theme and a night theme. When a switch is turned on, the day theme will be applied, making it blue with a sun and cloud icon. When you turn it off the background becomes a dark grey with the moon and stars applied on it.
These two themes were initially created for the Do Not Disturb toggle but the developer of DayNightSwitch tweak also offers the option to apply it on all iOS toggles if you like them better than their stock appearance.
With DayNightSwitch installed, you will be able to access the tweak’s preferences pane in the Settings app. The only options are to enable the tweak just for the Do Not Disturb toogle or for all the iOS toggles. Whatever you choose, use the Respring option to apply the new settings.
Since the DayNightSwitch is available for free in Cydia’s BigBoss repo, there’s really no harm in trying it. And if you find that you like the new toggle themes but you don’t want them applied system-wide you can use them just for the Do Not Disturb toggle and still see the day/night themes at least once in a while.
