Launch Maps on your iPhone and use the Search option to look up a location or a business. Alternatively, force-press the Maps app icon and select ‘Search Nearby‘ then enter the name of the business or place you’re trying to find.
The results will be listed in a moment. Find the one you want and force-press it, instead of the usual tap.
Then you’ll be able to see the full name of the item you selected as well as a few options, specifically Share Location, Open Homepage, Call, and Directions.
You can select whichever you need – Directions will show you the way there, Call will dial the number of the business or location, Open Homepage will launch the official website in Safari (if there is one, of course) and Share Location lets you send this information to any of your contacts.
