Get watchOS like Glances on iOS with Glances tweak

The Apple Watch’s interface is known as Glances – it allowed users to simply swipe and view all their different apps. However, this watchOS feature was replaced by the Dock. If you liked the old layout and you have a jailbroken iPhone you can get watchOS like Glances on iOS with a Cydia tweak called Glances (definitely a straightforward name, right?).

The tweak includes several pages with glances as well as a shortcut page. You can find glances for various apps such as Apps, Weather, Music, Batter, Control Center and Calendar. In fact, the Glances tweak shows up to 8 applications.

Some of the Glances look just like the ones on Apple Watch, Battery for example. Furthermore, it lets you quickly enable/disable low power mode.

The tweak also provides various options that let you customize Glances. For example, you can disable specific glances or reorder them, select an opening glance that is displayed when you swipe up, adjust shadow intensity and size, as well as enable dark mode among others.

Technically, the Glances tweak makes a great alternative to the Control Center but you can use both at the same time if you’d like. However, in this case you need to select a different activator action to launch the tweak and not the swipe up gesture.

Privacy-conscious users have the option to disable Glances on the lockscreen. If you want to get watchOS like Glances on iOS, Glances tweak is the way to go. You can find it in Cydia for $2.99 and it supports iOS 8 and 9 at the moment.
