Handshake for the iPhone/iPod Touch is an application that helps you share your contact information or any contact information stored on your iPhone or iPod Touch, with anyone having Handshake installed. The application can send data using Wi-Fi, 3G or Edge with no problem and it uses the Apple’s Core Location framework.
Now, don’t expect a complicated application or some fancy interface, Handshake is designed to do exactly as it states, simple and fast. You don’t usually need to tap more than 2 buttons and its interface is simple and clean, the way it should be. Current Handshake version, 1.0.1 seems to have some iPod Touch bugs, but the upcoming 1.1 version promises to fix most of them and also, will add the option to send industry-standard vCards through email to other people, even if they don’t own an iPhone or iPod Touch.
Handshake comes in 2 versions, one free of charge but as always, has some ads in it and the paid version, clean as a whistle.
You can try Handshake using iTunes App Store.
