Thanks to the internet, we are not communicating in writing more than ever and regardless who you’re talking with, there’s always room for improvement. Hemingboard keyboard can help you express yourself easily even if you’re not particularly talented at this.
The classic auto-correct function may help us write using proper grammar, but Hemingboard goes far beyond that. This keyboard app will provide suggestions for synonyms, puns, and even a rhyming dictionary, so it’s not just useful for improving your writing skills, you can also have a lot of fun with it.

After you install Hemingboard, you’ll need to activate it. You can do this by navigating to Settings -> General -> Keyboards. There, select ‘Keyboards‘ and tap on the ‘Add New Keyboard‘ option. On the following screen, select ‘Hemingboard‘ to enable it.
To use your newly installed keyboard, open a text input field in any app, then tap and hold the globe icon on the keyboard, from where you can switch to Hemingboard keyboard.
The app lets you see synonyms, puns or rhyming words for any word that’s currently selected by pressing on the Hemingboard icon, located between the globe icon and the spacebar.
Synonyms, puns, and rhymes are all on the same list, so all you have to do is scroll down to navigate between the sections. If you like one of the suggestions, select it and it will automatically replace the selected word.
Right now, Hemingboard is an iOS-exclusive app, but it will soon arrive on Mac and Android as versions for each of these platforms are currently in beta.
