As more and more Android apps align to Material Design standards, today it was Hootsuite‘s turn. Webmasters who rely on the Hootsuite system for social media management will probably appreciate this update that takes the app to version 3.0
The revamped interface includes Material Design elements and the app now supports Android Wear. Among the newly introduced features, Hootsuite now lets you see images in full screen and the ability to swipe for hiding or deleting social networks.
In Hootsuite 3.0, tabs and streams now sync with the web and the app launches directly into your first stream. As always, the update probably includes some unlisted bug fixes and tweaks. Looking at user feedback, some things might be broken in the latest version of the app. There are numerous reports on the fact that push notifications do not work anymore, but hopefully Hootsuite will release a fix soon.
