More and more apps are complying with Google’s Material Design standards and LastPass is among the most recent ones. Furthermore, LastPass announced a new collaboration with Samsung to give Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge buyers a premium upgrade. For those interested, you should know the offer is part of the Samsung Galaxy Gifts program.
The latest update introduces the hamburger menu and a left edge swipe as the two ways you can access the main menu. There, you’ll find a streamlined version of the Settings, although experienced users can get the more advanced options as well. A floating button has been added where you can launch new actions like creating a secure note or adding a site.
The color scheme relies mostly on white with a few color accents, just to make things more readable. LastPass now opens to the Vault, not in browser mode, like it used to – as a result of customer feedback.
Galaxy S6 and S6 edge owners can get the free upgrade to Premium via the Samsung Galaxy Apps store. It works even if you already have the Premium upgrade, case in which the expiration date will be extended.
