Instagram users that visit the network on iPhones and iPads will probably be happy to find out they can now post photos to Instagram from iOS Photos app.
The latest update brought Instagram for iOS to version 8.2 which added support for sharing pics directly from the Photos app via the sharesheet. While the recent interface change did not receive a warm welcome, this new feature is actually useful.

How to post photos to Instagram from iOS Photos app
Unless you just bought your iPhone or iPad yesterday, you probably already know how to use the sharesheet. However, in order to post photos to Instagram from iOS Photos app you will need to do a few more things to enable this functionality.
To begin with, your Instagram app needs to be at version 8.2 or newer. Otherwise, just visit Instagram’s App Store page and update it.
Assuming your Instagram app is now the latest version, open the Photos app and select the pic you want to share. Then, tap on the ‘Share’ button located at the bottom of the screen and browse through the row of social apps then tap on ‘More’.
Now, the Activities screen will appear and all you need to do is search for Instagram and toggle the switch next to it. It is also possible to change Instagram’s share icon position in the sharesheet menu, which can be done by dragging the three line button located next to the Instagram entry.
If you have more than one account connected to the Instagram app, the picture will be posted on the one which is currently active. And since the sharesheet is an iOS feature you can also share images to Instagram from other apps, not just Photos.
