A few days ago, Skype app for Android got an update, which brought a very welcome feature with it. Now, you can import your smartphone’s address book into Skype. Do not worry if you updated the app and still don’t see the feature – Google Play change log already lists the feature, but users might have to wait a few weeks until it rolls out to everyone.
Until now, you had to type in numbers manually to add them to Skype, but the new feature will make it easy. You will have to verify your phone number and Skype will sync with your phone’s address book, displaying your contacts alongside your Skype buddies. In the app’s settings, you will be able to opt out from the friend search.
