AppNetworkCounter: Find out how much network bandwidth is being used by each running application

Systems nowadays are full of native applications as well as user-installed software that do a lot of network traffic in their backend. While the user isn't always aware of this traffic since little to no applications chose to display that, AppNetworkCounter is the perfect software to view the network usage of specific apps, if needed.

The software tool is very lightweight, it sports a user-friendly interface that monitors active programs and displays their TCP and UPD traffic sent and received. What's also extremely helpful is that the software also lets you export everything to file, which might come in handy if you want to keep a comprehensive log or just want to share the usage with other users or developers. The logs can be saved as TXT, JSON, CSV, HTML or XML format.

While the software does an excellent job at monitoring all the active apps, you have to keep in mind that it doesn't have the capability to limit the network traffic in any way. Basically, AppNetworkCounter can be used only to monitor your system and take manual actions yourself, where you feel it's necessary.
