Avidemux is a free video editor and encored that lets you edit, encore and requantize AVI and MPEG videos, DivX included. With Avidemux you can easily perform simple processing tasks such as cutting, filtering and encoding.

Avidemux uses many codecs to ensure support for multiple file formats, such as AVI, MP4, MPEG (DVD compatible) and ASF. You can automate tasks with Avidemux using scripting, job queue and projects.
