The purpose of BarCode Reader is to provide users with a fast and easy way to scan the barcodes on their PC, and it can check JPG, GIF, TIFF, and PNG images, while also being able to use the webcam.

The application uses different 1D and 2D symbologies to check for existing barcodes in an image, and it can be set to search for them no matter of the position or angle, while even having the possibility to scan flipped or mirrored barcodes for it will apply all the corrections it needs to get the best result.

Users will be able to use a webcam, and all they need to do in order to connect it is to plug it in, then point it where they need to scan.
