One of the most reliable ways of securing your files is via encryption. While there are numerous dedicated tools you can use, if you have little or no technical experience, choosing one that comes only with basic options and a straightforward interface is best.BitCrypt is an intuitive file encryption application that makes it extremely easy to encrypt and decrypt files. The tool relies on the 256-bit AES encryption algorithm and its basic interface provides two separate panels for encryption and decryption tasks.
Click on one of the panels, depending on whether you want to encrypt or decrypt files, and load the files via the built-in explorer or using drag and drop. The encryption/decryption process will automatically start after the files are loaded.
For encryption, BitCrypt will ask you to fill in a password and a hint, which will be needed to decrypt the files.
