Bitwig Studio: A comprehensive music creation tool with a built-in note editor, mixer, studio I/O and automation panels

Bitwig Studio is a feature-rich application that lets you create music tracks from scratch. It offers download links to a collection of ready-made sound collections that you can optionally download altough you can also use your own audio if you want to.

The program comes with 25 audio FX devices such as flanger, delay, compressor, reverb and blur, as well as 9 devices, including a sampler, polysinth, e-clap and a drum machine. Furthermore, it offers 9 containers and 11 modulators. All tools have their own customizable parameters so you can fully express your creativity while creating original audio files.

As the UI bundles so many functions in multiple working areas, the tool may be intimidating for first-time users, but if you use it a few times you’ll soon understand how it all works and the fact that all the features have a logic in their placement.

Bitwig Studio lets you work on multiple projects at the same time as well as spread a project into several files, giving the opportunity to focus on single or groups of elements in each file.
