A user friendly HTML editor and code generator with support for CSS and JavaScript

Brackets is an intuitive code editing tool designed to help those who are just beginning to learn CSS, HTML or JavaScript programming. Thanks to the streamlined interface it is very easy to work with this application, plus it offers essential features such as autocompletion, a live preview option and syntax highlighting.

The main window dedicates two sections for the code editor and the sidebar where you can easily switch between projects. To speed up basic coding tasks, Brackets can be set to close all braces automatically and in the status bar you can see the line and column where the cursor is currently positioned.

What’s more, the application bundles various useful functions like the ability to block comments and toggle lines, a search and replace function, indent/unindent lines and more. You can change the font size and easily revert to its default value as well as set brackets to highlight the active line.

Brackets supports extensions and various languages, and allows you to open multiple instances, use a number of built-in debugging tools, run tests, use a node debugger and view performance data.
