Classical Vocabulary

Classical Vocabulary: A lightweight application that bundles essential tools for learning and translating Greek and Latin

Classical Vocabulary is a small piece of software that offers basic functions which allow you to translate and learn Greek and Latin.

You will need to install the SPIonic Greek Fonts in order to access the program, which is are available in the download.

The application lets you change the font style, color and highlighting for the displayed documents. In the lower section of the main window you can preview the Greek or Latin word you are searching for, as well as its description or translation.

A dedicated option allows you to add new words along with their translation, and there’s a feature called Test Yourself which removes the description or translation of the words you want to learn. However, the translation can be accessed if such is the case, via the Escape key.
