DAEMON Tools for Mac: A powerful yet intuitive software solution to mount CD/DVD disc images on OS X

DAEMON Tools Lite for Mac is a robust application that lets you easily mount and manage CD, DVD or HDD disk images on your Apple computer. The tool runs in the Dock or in the status bar although you can customize global hotkeys for mounting and unmounting discs.

In the Preferences menu, you can change the behavior of Daemon Tools Lite. As a result, you can set it to re-mount the images on start-up, change the DVD default region, turn off the confirmation messages and set global hotkeys for essential actions.

The application supports numerous disc formats like B5T, B6T, BWT, CCD, CDI, BIN, CUE, APE, FLAC, ISO, ISZ, MDS, MDF, MDX, NRG, PDI, DMG, and VHD. To mount an image you can either drag and drop it on top of the Dock icon of Daemon Tools Lite or launch it from the application’s interface.

You can also use the program to access devices remotely thanks to the iSCSI protocol. After you mount the images, the Finder will detect them as regular discs, allowing you to conveniently browse their content.
