Firstly, the application is portable so you can simply run the executable either from your local hard drive or an external storage device like a USB memory stick. However, be aware you need to launch DVD Span with administrative privileges in order to use all of its features.

As soon as you load the files and folders you wish to back up, you can fill in the disk capacity and the program uses this information so your files will fit with as little wasted space as possible.

Furthermore, DVD Span doesn’t just let you create data backups on physical discs, as it can also be used to generate ISO files.
