DWSIM: A chemical process simulation software for those studying chemistry

DWSIM is not only capable of simulating chemical process, it can also perform data regression analysis and generate compounds, as it bundles numerous unit operations and thermodynamic models, plus a robust collection of functions which let you create components and manage reactions.

In the application you can fully control material streams and create a schematic representation of the system by using the built-in rich object library. You can copy the results to the Clipboard, and paste the data in third-party applications as an image.

The program includes various property packages which are commonly used, including Ideal Gas, Peng-Robinson, Grayson-Streed, Chao-Seader and many others. With useful features like fully customizable parameters, automated error detection and PH calculation for all compounds, DWSIM is a must have tool for any chemist.

Users can create new compounds you can then use in experiments, and perform data regression analysis for two compounds and the generated graphs can be exported to external applications. On top of that, you can use the program to perform multi-variate optimizations and sensitivity analysis, see the properties of the pure component, carry out hydrate calculations and calculate the critical point.
