DeepGit: A companion utility for any Git client that lets you easily find the origin of lines of code inside a repository

DeepGit is a companion application that supports any Git client designed to help you when working with Git repositories. The program can analyze commits as well as their content to find the origin of lines of code. This enables you to efficiently track code snippets, as well as changes.

To use DeepGit you need create a local copy of the repository you want to work on and set it as a source in the app. The program can analyze an individual file in the repository, displaying it as well as the related commits in a dedicated panel.

In the Blame view, you can click on a certain commit to analyze all its changes, contributions and all its project components. Also, the app is capable of detecting back lines of code and detecting the commit where they were introduced.
