Enlarge different parts of your desktop with this magnifying glass simulator

Desktop Zoom is a user friendly and simple utility that allows users to zoom and magnify particular segments of their desktop screens in order to get better look of desired areas with smaller fonts and details.

Once started the software powers up a window that acts as your magnifying glass, then you can move it wherever you want. You can zoom in on both desktop and opened applications and once you are done with using Desktop Zoom you can minimize or hide its windows for later use, or quickly close it if you don’t need it anymore.

The area you want to zoom in changes in real time as you move your mouse pointer and all you have to do is move the mouse to a desired area or element in order to make it appear larger. Desktop Zoom window can also be used as a permanent magnifying glass by moving it over the item you want to observe and leaving it there. Then you can check the always on top option to keep it always on top of the area or element you are magnifying.

There are several types of zooming in, you can view the plain image or you can select how many times would you like to enlarge it. There is the ability to add mirroring and color effects as well. By using mirroring Desktop Zoom will show you how the desired area or element look like if it is being inverted vertically or horizontally.

Next to classic zoom in options, there are options that allow you to zoom in Transparent or Semi-Transparent Windows. By using tooltips, you will be able to easily change position and size of magnifying windows with few mouse moves.

The desired magnifying area or element can be copied to clipboard for later use in image editing programs or for preserving the zoomed in look of desired area for later show or use.
