DriveCleanup - DriveCleanup is a nifty little freeware application that helps the user to remove invalid entries of drives that were removed in the past or that had issues with Windows. The software also cleans up any registry traces for those drives as well.

DriveCleanup can handle most types of internal or external devices such as USB drives, DVD drives, floppies, and others. The application works via command prompt only and while this idea may scare off users, you have to keep in mind that DriveCleanup simplifies this process a lot and you don't have to be an advanced user to use the tool.

The software doesn't require any installation, it's lightweight and of course, portable, and can be run from any external device without any problems. DriveCleanup it's also very fast, the entries are cleaned up in seconds and you'll be provided with a report with all the things that were fixed.

DriveCleanup is a must-have tool for fixing those orphaned entries of drives that gained a permanent residence on your computer.
