If you a dynamic IP address that regularly changes then you know how difficult it can be to connect to services like FTP or remote desktop. Dyn Updater is a free update client that ensures your hostname is always up to date with the newest IP address.

This way you’ll be able to reach your home network at all times. Once you finish setting up Dyn Updater, it will run quietly in the background. All you need to do is remember your hostname in order to access your services and files.

Dyn Updater will check your network IP address regularly. If the IP address has changed it will update your hostname with it, in your DynDNS account.
