Electorrent: A modern Electron-based application that lets you access your torrents remotely by connecting to a uTorrent server

Electrotorrent is a powerful yet intuitive Electron-based application that allows you to connect to a uTorrent server to access your torrents remotely via the Internet or your local area network.

To use Electrotorrent you will also need uTorrent installed on the host computer. Also, you will need to go to uTorrent’s Preferences and enable the Web UI service in the Advanced menu. You will also need to create a username, password and optionally, the port number.

With this taken care of, you can install Electrotorrent and log into the app. In the main window, you can now remotely control the available torrents using essential options, specifically start, pause and stop.

Furthermore, the right-click menu allows you to force start, remove, recheck and move torrents up and down in the queue.
