Encryption Wizard is a powerful piece of software that makes it possible to encrypt files by adding certificates and defining passwords. It can also be used to create encrypted archives and protect PIV and CAC smart cards.

The tool is portable so it can be launched from both local and external storage devices, and there is no setup involved. However, it is Java-based so you will need Java installed on any computer you want to run it.

Files can be loaded through the included browse option or by simply dragging and dropping them on top of Encryption Wizard’s main window. Then you can define passwords for the encryption process, and the app offers information regarding the password strength level and you can enable it to retain or delete the original files according to your needs.

There are several encryption methods to choose from, like certificates and passphrases, but you can also use Encryption Wizard to generate random passwords, encrypt PIV and CAC smart cards, encrypt archives, erase files, and decrypt items.
