Everything: A free, lightweight tool that provides instant file search results and advanced filters

Everything is a powerful file search tool that provides advanced filters and numerous customization options. The search results are displayed instantly as the program automatically indexes your computer’s drives and monitors them for updates.

You can set Everything to automatically start when Windows boots, plus you can choose to associated it with EFU files and allow it to automatically index fixed NTFS volumes.

The main window can be accessed from the system tray icon. Everything can automatically index the drives and folders of your choice. Your searches can also be refined with various filters such as exclusions, matching whole words, cases, diacritics or paths, filters for various file types, regular expressions and more.

Also, the app allows you to use numerous criteria to sort the search results such as file name, size, extension, creation date and path.
