With live in game support you will have the ultimate control of the situation which will lead to boost in your creativity. Follow the mood changes and swings dictated by the game and check out the action as you design, add, mix, or modify audio content, completely in real time. Also you can use blended mixer snapshots that will make your game appear more alive by having complete mixes respond smoothly to different states of the game and preset audio event triggers.

Some of the advanced features include game event profiling with EBU R-128 compliant audio metering, Multi user collaboration, Microsoft TFS and Perforce support, hardware control surface support and timeline based music system along with the beat matched sound effects and the ability to modulate any control with sidechaining. Nested events are supported as well.

When it comes to customization FMOD supports 3rd party effect plugins and the default version comes with different 3rd party plugins such as McDSP Mastering Limiter 1, AudioGaming AudioWeather and GenAudio AstoundSound.
