FileTypesMan: Helps users view all file extensions found on their system, while allowing them to add new file types or edit the existing ones, and create context menu entries

FileTypesMan is a small Windows file management software program that displays all the file types present on your PC and enables you to modify file extensions and context menu items.

The application is portable so you simply need to open the executable file in order to run it. This can be done from your local computer hard drive or from removable storage devices such as USB flash drives.

After you launch it, FileTypesMan will automatically scan your computer and display the file extensions, along with comprehensive details such as name, description, modified time, perceived type, flags, company name, product name, description, and version.

The selected items can be exported to HTML, XML, CSV, or TXT formats, plus you can copy the selected information to the clipboard, and refresh the current list.

On top of that, you can replace the file type for the current selection with its original extension, customize the program's appearance in terms of text style, size, and font, as well as use the built-in search function.

Users can also manually add new file formats to the list by entering information regarding the extension, type name, default icon, description, and perceived type. Furthermore, you can customize some advanced options such as setting the files to open automatically and disable the "Never ask me" option.

Context menu items can be assigned for each file format by providing details regarding the menu caption and action name. FileTypesMan lets you select the executable file from a list of running apps or enter it manually.
