Fortnite Battle Royale: A very popular multiplayer first person shooter

Fortnite is a very popular FPS (first person shooter) game which debuted in 2017 as a PVE (player vs environment) multiplayer game. Epic Games, its developer, decided to take the base game mechanic, the building aspect, and transform it into a Battle Royale game.

Fortnite Battle Royale became an instant hit due to the rising popularity of battle royale games, lead by PUBG at the time. The game's graphics combined with its base-building mechanic, cartoonish aesthetics and fluid gameplay launched it into the #1 spot on many platforms, being a fan favorite game on Twitch and YouTube.

Fortnite Battle Royale is a 100-player multiplayer battle royale game with a very simple yet addicting premise, to launch everybody onto an island and the last player standing will win the game. The game features a large array of weapons, traps and other gadgets and due to its building mechanic, allows for some pretty spectacular gameplay.

Fortnite Battle Royale is a free-to-play game and its monetization model features only cosmetic skins and models along with some XP boosts.
