A General Environment for the Treatment of Discrete Problems

GetDP is a free, open-source finite element solving application, using mixed elements to discretize Rham-type complexes in one, two and three dimensions.

The most important capability of the program is the close similarity of the input data used to define discrete problems and the symbolic mathematical expressions of the problems. The input data must be written by the user in ASCII data files.

GetDP offers an environment open to multiple types of couplings between physical problems, geometries, numerical methods and time states.
