Ginger Grammar and Spell Checker is a handy tool that integrates into some of the most popular web browsers and application such as Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft PowerPoint, offering grammar and spell check functions that can save a lot of time otherwise spent proofreading texts. Also, because of its wide integration, the application can be useful both inside document editing software and while browsing the Web.


The tool can work offline, but with some limitations, so if you want to be able to access the complete set of features, you have to be connected to the Internet. It can be used both as a reference tool and a spell checker which can correct errors immediately. The friendly interface includes several modules through which you can perform actions.

The Reader function of the app lets you hear a string of text spoken out loud (useful if you want to hear the correct pronunciation of those words). The Rephraser module provides alternatives to written content and the Checker will assist you with grammar and spelling verifications. Lastly, the Trainer module offers guidance based on writing mistakes you made so far.
