Hyena: Manage your computer’s system with this friendly tool

Hyena is a powerful application that lets you manage various aspects of your operating system in a simple manner. It offers all administrative and system tools in the same interface for quick access.

Designed for Windows administrators, Hyena allows IT professionals to quickly manage users and devices, access system logs and perform changes. The UI that’s similar to Windows Explorer, organizes the tools in groups, so users can easily located those needed for their computer maintenance tasks.
In the file manager you can edit object security options and run various customizable tools. Users can create their own personalized tools to link to other applications which are not available in Hyena’s default menus.

You can easily start/stop services and devices from the program without having to access the Computer Management console. In the main window you can access application and security logs that have been generated by the OS components.

Furthermore, in the Registry area of Hyena, you can view keys and edit them to modify your system’s Registry. There’s also the possibility to automate some tasks using the macro feature. In it you can enter various commands and save them to plain text files for later use. While using the macro command strings does take a bit of practice, the developers offer detailed documentations to help beginners.
