IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition is a robust application that enables developers to create Android, Java, Groovy or Scala applications. It includes a well rounded collection of tools and integrations with the latest frameworks and technologies, for maximum efficiency and productivity.

At first run, users will have the option to import a project or create a new one. Further customization is offered through the Configure option, which lets you change the compiler, HTTP proxy and the file colors.

In the ‚Project’ area, you can see all of the libraries and components used to develop apps, plus you can also analyze all dependencies, add new HTML files and validate scripts via the right-click menu. The application automatically saves your project, thus prevent accidental data loss. Even so, you can always roll-back to a previous version using the „Local History” option from the context menu.

Export options give you the possibility to save your projects as JAR fles, which allows you to open it with other IDE platforms. Also, users can generate JavaDoc scopes from their project or save it as a template.
