Iridium is an open-source Chromium-based web browser that provides an enhanced set of security options and control over data transmission with an interface very similar to Google Chrome.

The clean interface allows you to focus on your browsing and the program can be used out of the box. Nevertheless, it does provide additional security features not available in Google Chrome.

Iridium blocks the automatic transmission of partial queries, keywords, metrics and other data to third-parties without your approval. Whenever a tracked that attempts to retrieve your personal information is detected, the application will display a notification.

On top of that, the program bundles all the core search and navigation capabilities a modern web browser should have, including a search box, auto-complete, and a tabbed interface.
