An application designed to perform geodetic estimations

Java Graticule 3D is a tool designed to be used by those studying geodesy, as it is capable of estimating unidimensional, bi-dimensional and three-dimensional geodetic networks.

You do not need to install the app in order to run it, although it does require Java installed on your computer.

The program features a plain layout where most of the space is dedicated to the editor. Users can load an existing HyperSQL database or create a new project.

Java Graticule 3D can be used to estimate geodetic networks using the Gauss-Markov theorem. It uses robust L1 norm and common outliers to detect gross errors and provides support for classic observations such as directions, azimuths, 2D/3D, GNSS-baseline positioning and level difference.

What’s more, the application bundles other useful features like coordinate transformation, form-fitting and analysis, deformation analysis and the ability to convert coordinates.
